The WIAMIS 2009 conference will be held in the Brunei Gallery, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London, UK. SOAS is a college of the University of London and it has a unique role as a sole Higher Education institution in the UK specialising in the study of Asia, Africa and the Near and Middle East. The Brunei Gallery consists of a 40-room conference facility and it is located in the north-west corner of Russell Square (Google maps). You can find a floor plan for the Brunei Gallery here. The poster session will take place in the Brunei Suite and the oral sessions will take place in the Brunei Theatre (indicated on the plan as BB01).
